Born and raised in Winnipeg, Mikaela’s passion for working with children started during the summers she spent working at camp, where she taught numerous campers how to paddle a canoe and conquer the climbing wall.
Mikaela completed her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology in 2015 and Master of Physical Therapy in 2018. Since graduating, she has worked exclusively with children in a variety of settings in Winnipeg, Thompson, and several First Nations communities in Manitoba. She loves making exercise fun, and especially loves working with babies and children with neurological conditions.
Outside of the clinic, Mikaela enjoys spending time outdoors (in any season!), playing board games with her husband, singing in choir, and reading.
