Frequently Asked Questions

Find out the answers to some of the questions you may have before booking with our Winnipeg team.

No, a referral isn't required to book. That said, some extended benefit plans do require one, so it's worth checking with your provider first.

We direct bill to most major insurance providers, including Manitoba Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, and Canada Life. We'd still recommend confirming your specific plan's coverage before booking.

Growth-plate pain like Osgood-Schlatter's or Sever's disease is common in active kids and teens, especially during growth spurts. It's worth having it assessed early. Left untreated, it can affect how much activity your child can comfortably keep up with.

Sooner is generally better. Early assessment helps us catch what's going on before compensation patterns set in, and gets your child on a path back to their sport faster.

Return to school and sport should happen gradually, and every recovery timeline looks different. We build a step-by-step plan around your child's symptoms, and work alongside their doctor along the way.

We assess curvature and posture, then build a plan focused on strength and comfort. If your child has a diagnosis already, we're happy to coordinate with their physician.

From young children through the teen years. Age isn't a barrier - treatment is tailored to whatever stage your child is at.
